Download Wireless OBM App and Set Your Combination

This article provides the steps to download the Wireless OBM App and set your combination

Overview

This guide explains how to connect the Wireless OBM App to your V-DAQ TAG for the first time and begin viewing live vehicle mass information.

The connection process pairs your mobile device with the V-DAQ TAG installed in your Prime Mover, allowing you to monitor live axle weights, add trailers or dollies, and access connected gauge information.

Before You Begin

Before connecting your vehicle, ensure:

  • Your V-DAQ TAG has been installed and verified.
  • Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.
  • You are within Bluetooth range of the vehicle.

Important: Wireless OBM uses Bluetooth to communicate with the V-DAQ TAG. Other applications connected to Right Weigh gauges may interfere with the connection. Close all background apps before connecting.

Step 1 – Download the Wireless OBM App

Download and install the V-DAQ Wireless OBM app from either the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Sign in using your V-DAQ credentials.

Step 2 – Close Background Applications

Before opening the Wireless OBM App, close any applications running in the background that may already be connected to Bluetooth devices or Right Weigh gauges.

This helps ensure a stable connection to the V-DAQ TAG.

Select your Prime Mover from the list to establish a connection.

Once connected, the app will begin receiving live mass information.

Step 5 – Add Trailers or Dollies

Open the side menu and add any connected trailers or dollies to your vehicle configuration.

Once all required assets have been added, tap Save.

Step 6 – View Live Weight Information

After connecting, the main dashboard displays live vehicle mass information, including:

  • Total Gross Weight
